So lately we've been doing lots of things and obviously blogging hasn't been one of them. I've taken three trips to Utah in the last five weeks and Nate has taken two. The first time was for a couple of family events in Nate's family. Then I went back up a couple weeks later for one of my best friend's wedding. And then we both went back up because I had a Dr.'s appointment/check-up so we made a trip of it over the Memorial Day weekend. Too bad the weather was a bit cold and rainy, but it was still fun. Here are a few pictures.

Jarvs, Procs, and Lewis' - Good times

Kate and Sue, Amber and Peggy, and me, Marin, and Susan got together for a little lunch outing. Amber's recently engaged, which is very exciting!
A few things we've done around here in Las Vegas:
Nate and I went for a ride on the Blue Diamond loop. It was a really pretty ride and a very popular one around here. Nate, of course, could have gone further and faster, but at least I'm a better runner than him (I think).

We went for a little hike on Mt. Charleston with our friends Quinn and Alexis Brown. It's like you're in an entirely different place there. It made me miss home but it's nice that there's something like that around here.

Who would have thought there would be snow in Las Vegas in May?

Quinn and Lexi
Gordie and Susie stopped by to stay with us for a night as they were passing through to California for my mom's high school reunion. My dad had never seen the Bellagio gardens or fountains so we took him there. The flower display was amazing as usually and we caught some really cool fountain shows, including one to a Frank Sinatra song - perfect. We also saw some guy somehow end up in the water and three guys jump in after him. It took them forever to pull him out of the water and an ambulance and firetruck came. Pretty exciting. Nate and my dad walked around to get a closer look and the guy's face was all bloody.
